Registration for the international Olympiad for foreign citizens Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project is open until November 16. The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will have the opportunity to study at leading Russian universities, including Tomsk Polytechnic University, free of charge.

The Olympiad is held in 14 interdisciplinary profiles and tracks for bachelor's degree program students, master's degree program students, postgraduates and postdocs. Persons aged 16-23 years old who have completed or are completing their education that allows them to enter universities according to the legislation of the Russian Federation are allowed to participate in the Olympiad within the bachelor's degree track.
People aged 20-33 years old with a bachelor's degree can participate in the master's degree track. Students planning to complete their bachelor's degree programs in 2026 are also eligible to participate.
The postgraduate track requires specialist or master's level education, obtained no later than the academic year when the Olympiad is held, and the age from 22 to 35 years.
Persons aged 24-39 who have a Candidate of Sciences, Doctor of Sciences, PhD are allowed to participate in the Olympiad within the postdoctoral track.
The age of the participants is calculated as of September 1, 2025.
The first two stages of the Olympiad are the same for bachelor's, master's and postgraduate tracks. So, the portfolio will be evaluated in the qualifying stage. For this purpose participants need to pass an entrance test for each of the selected profiles. It will help them to pre–assess their level of knowledge and get acquainted with the interface of the Olympiad. The participants who successfully pass the selection are invited to the second stage.

The Olympiad tasks and further studies at universities are available in Russian and English.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad within bachelor's and master's degree tracks can choose a training program in accordance with their profile at one of the Russian universities that provide training in their field of interest.
The winners of the postgraduate track can choose an academic advisor for their research work at one of the universities hosting the Olympiad.
The winners of the Olympiad within the postdoc track receive a job offer for the researcher position at the university that arranges the Olympiad.

The Open Doors Olympiad was established by the Global Universities Association, represented by leading Russian Universities, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo.
The winners of the Olympiad can enroll in bachelor's, master's or postgraduate degree programs through a "one-stop shop" system, or get a position in a research project at one of the leading Russian niversities. Over the seven years of the Olympiad, more than 6,000 talented young people have used this right.
